About

Why Morning Kept exists

My wife Madison and I love a good meal. We love cooking, and we love sharing a meal at home between us, or with family and friends. But I found that often, our busy lives got in the way of our meal planning, and we defaulted to things neither of us truly loved. Meals of convenience, rather than joy. And truthfully, the deciding, the sourcing, keeping track of what we both enjoy, that all tended to land at the end of an already full day or a tired morning.

That friction wasn't limited to meal planning though. My fitness routines have had the same obstacle. Planning friction was getting in the way of outcomes and progress. And for me it isn't enough to just automate the planning. This is our lives we're talking about. We want to be and feel healthier, eat better, and enjoy our time together without spending so much valuable down time on planning and orchestrating.

I have spent more than twelve years in financial services doing one kind of work across many forms: making complex systems serve the people who depend on them. Continuous improvement, Lean management, process design, customer experience. I think in systems and root causes, and this particular root cause just kept showing up every morning. Eventually I stopped waiting for someone else to solve it.

What we believe

AI is mostly used as an efficiency tool. It removes steps, automates tasks, saves time, and the measure of success is friction removed. Morning Kept is built on a different premise: the goal is not to hand you time back in the abstract, it is to fill that time with something worth having. Morning Kept handles the planning so your morning belongs to you. Have your coffee. Be present. Train well, eat joyfully, discover meals your household loves. It's already handled.

Who is behind it

Morning Kept is founded and run by me, Alan Lowe, in Connecticut. I've spent time during my career in the restaurant industry, in manufacturing, and over a decade in financial services, all in roles that put the highest priority on value delivered for the customer. Everything along the way has reinforced the same conviction: what a product promises and what a person experiences are often two different things, and the gap is where trust is lost. Madison and I were Morning Kept's first household. I use both products every day, and I am their most demanding subscriber. Nothing ships that we would not want in our own mornings.

Where it is going

Morning Kept will bring delight to everyday routines, enable real progress toward the goals people set for themselves, and protect mornings that belong to the people who live them. Handled is open today. Tuned arrives in January 2027. If you are curious, the FAQ covers the practical questions, and you can start using Handled today by visiting Get Started.
